Have a good day

The sun is shining, the trees are budding and our moods are brighter. Today was one of those rare days I happened to wake up in an amazing mood, got out of bed right away and looked forward to the activities of the day – breakfast, writing, tv, reading, teaching, tv & Friday night dinner plans.

I want to share some of the things that add colour to my day and boost my mood. I’d love to hear about things that do the same for you.

  • Wear a bright piece of clothing
  • Give money to a charity or a homeless person
  • Go to sleep and wake up a little earlier than your usual time
  • Set a small goal for the day and achieve it
  • Write, paint or create something
  • Talk to a friend
  • Smile when upset
  • Try something new
  • Watch a funny Youtube video
  • Sing along to your song
  • Eat clean and healthy food (have a fruit or salad)
  • Read an article about your favourite topic
  • Exercise
  • Do whatever else makes you happy
