The sun is shining, the trees are budding and our moods are brighter. Today was one of those rare days I happened to wake up in an amazing mood, got out of bed right away and looked forward to the activities of the day – breakfast, writing, tv, reading, teaching, tv & Friday night dinner plans.
I want to share some of the things that add colour to my day and boost my mood. I’d love to hear about things that do the same for you.
- Wear a bright piece of clothing
- Give money to a charity or a homeless person
- Go to sleep and wake up a little earlier than your usual time
- Set a small goal for the day and achieve it
- Write, paint or create something
- Talk to a friend
- Smile when upset
- Try something new
- Watch a funny Youtube video
- Sing along to your song
- Eat clean and healthy food (have a fruit or salad)
- Read an article about your favourite topic
- Do whatever else makes you happy
